DriveCheck/ RideCheck

For those who do not feel ready to prepare for the Advanced Test, Penrith Motorists can arrange a 60-minute driving or riding assessment with one of our observers.

This is ideal if you are unsure about committing to the Skill for Life programme but would like some guidance. There's no requirement to join our group for this scheme. The assessment is arranged at a time convenient for both you and your observer and takes place using your vehicle (for RideCheck, the observer rides behind).

There's no test and no published result, however your assessment will help remind you of some good driving/riding procedures, identify a few bad habits and give you some pointers as to improvement. On completion, you will be given a comprehensive report and we hope you will have enjoyed the experience and go on to participate in our Skill for Life programme.

DriveCheck 60-minute assessment costs £25.

RideCheck 60-minute assessment costs £30.
