We have various options from an hour-long DriveCheck or RideCheck assessment to the Skill for Life package for car or motorcycle. In addition, we can arrange a free driving assessment for the over 60s called Checkdrive.

The Skill for Life package prepares you for the Advanced Test and training takes place over a number of weeks.

By passing the IAM Advanced Car or Motorcycle Test you are seven times less likely to be involved in a road traffic collision. Over 400,000 people in the UK have taken the IAM Advanced Test to date with a pass rate of 75%.

Once you have passed the test, you will benefit from discounts available through IAM membership including a possible reduction in vehicle insurance on renewal (age dependent).

You will have invitations to regular group social events as well as IAM-arranged track days and skills assessments.
